About the producer

Bodega La Haya was founded in 2001, following a long family winemaking tradition. It is located in the north of the island of Tenerife, the vineyards are located in the most north-western area of the Orotava Valley, which is characterised by stony soils, and for being an area where the trade winds are very frequent, which, together with the age of the vines, gives rise to a white wine of pure excellence.

Bodega La Haya is characterised by the fact that a small annual batch of the wines are aged under the sea, in the first underwater winery in the Canary Islands, due to the fact that it is located at a depth of 18 metres, the conditions of pressure, temperature, gravity, humidity and light are impossible to replicate on the surface, which is why the white wines produced have unique characteristics.
